The pedagogical essence of Allegra

Waldorf & Montessori Fusion

Allegra is a school that integrates Waldorf pedagogy and Montessori methodology in a vibrant and coherent way.

A proposal for an alternative nursery school where both pedagogies complement each other.

This conscious fusion allows us to offer deep support within an alternative children's school, where warmth, respect for rhythms and a carefully prepared environment coexist in balance.

The goal is to promote autonomy, confidence, and meaningful learning from early childhood

At Allegra, we work with Montessori materials, designed to help children learn independently through direct experience. These are not toys, but rather educational tools with a clear purpose: to spark curiosity, promote concentration, and facilitate the understanding of concepts in a concrete, sensory, and meaningful way.

Montessori materials are presented with precision and care. We demonstrate their use, guide the child from the beginning, and then trust the process. The child explores, repeats, makes mistakes, corrects them, and consolidates learning at their own pace. In this way, they build something more valuable than knowledge: they develop autonomy, security, and self-confidence.

Order and organization are fundamental pillars of our educational project. A prepared Montessori environment, structured and harmonious, offers emotional security, fosters concentration, and promotes calm. External order helps the child develop internal order, the foundation for a more balanced, conscious, and peaceful life.

One of Allegra's main goals is to foster children's autonomy and independence. We support children so they feel capable, responsible, and self-confident. From choosing materials and preparing their breakfast to tidying the classroom or tending the garden, every activity strengthens their self-esteem and sense of competence.

The union between Montessori and Waldorf pedagogy allows us to accompany each child as a whole being, respecting their pace of development and offering them the necessary tools to grow freely, autonomously and deeply connected with themselves and the world.
