At Allegra, the dining room is a space where learning to eat goes hand in hand with autonomy and responsibility. Children set the table, prepare their own breakfast, and actively participate in preparing the next day's meal, developing practical skills and reinforcing their independence in the Montessori style.
Our menus are made with organic, fresh and seasonal foods, promoting mindful nutrition that respects the body and rhythms of early childhood.
As a nursery school with organic food, we believe that learning to eat well is also part of education.
In addition, the children pick vegetables directly from the school garden, taking them to the table and discovering the complete cycle of nature: sowing, caring for and enjoying what they have grown.
The dining room reflects our philosophy: Montessori autonomy, Waldorf care and respect for nature, creating a space where children learn to eat with pleasure, awareness and responsibility, while sharing, collaborating and strengthening healthy habits.
This approach is part of our nature-based nursery school and conscious education project.
